I have over nine years experience leading Arts organisations of varied scale. During this time I have supported numerous companies to develop new business models and begin journeys of growth.
I am an attentive listener and am skilled at supporting companies to design meaningful and sustainable action plans, rooted in their mission and values.

Highlights of my experience in this area are set out below.
July - Dec 2020 and Nov 2021 - Dec 2022
I led Maya through a business planning process, directly responding to the Covid-19 pandemic, producing a new Case for Support document and setting out plans to expand their sector development offer to increase partnerships and income generation.
I recently led on the development and submission of Maya’s NPO application and supported on programme development for 22-23.

Since joining Folio Theatre during the midst of the pandemic, I have overseen a company restructure to charitable status, developed a new Board of Trustees, and have created and executed a new fundraising strategy which has seen the company turnover double in the past year.

Executive Producer
Dec 2022 - March 2023
Working alongside Theatremaker and consultant, Joe Hufton, I led the NTR board through a strategic review process, supporting them to design and recruit for a new CEO role in the organisation.
This included thorough data analysis and peer and stakeholder interviews, the findings of which we shared with Trustees at an Away Day that we facilitated.
Following this we oversaw the recruitment process, leading to an appointment in June 2023.

Jan 2021 - Present
I oversaw BitterSuite’s transition to CIO status, reviewed and strengthened their policies and procedures and created and executed a new fundraising strategy supporting their journey into 2022.
I continue to support the organisation on a monthly basis, leading on governance, financial management and fundraising.

FUNDRAISING
Since 2015, I have lead on Fundraising Strategy within all my Executive roles and have built up specific expertise in working with and applying to Trusts and Foundations. I have experience in securing large multi-year grants from trusts and foundations such as The National Lottery Fund, The John Ellerman Foundation, The London Community Foundation and The Lloyds Bank Foundation.
I have also supported organisations to access repeat funding from smaller, local trusts.
July - August 2022 I worked with City of London Sinfonia, overseeing applications to Trusts and Foundations.
In 2021, I worked as a Freelance Fundraiser for the Arts charity, Music and Theatre for All, and over my 9 months working with them I brokered 4 new funding relationships.
TRUSTS AND FOUNDATIONS
As part of my role as Organisational Development Lead for Maya Productions, I created a new Case for Support document to complement a newly designed fundraising strategy and system which has enabled the charity to raise vital funds over the past year and ensure future sustainability.
In 2021, I worked as Strategic Fundraising Consultant for Spare Tyre, developing a new Case for Support and advising on evaluation and data collection methods to support future fundraising activity.
FUNDRAISING STRATEGY
I have secured multiple project grants for Futures Theatre and Folio Theatre and now facilitate sessions on understanding the Arts Council’s Let’s Create Strategy.
In 2022 I was successful in securing 100k in Cultural Recovery Funding for BitterSuite, Folio Theatre and Maya Productions.
During my time as Executive Producer at English Touring Theatre I ensured the company fulfilled its obligations as a National Portfolio Organisation (NPO).
