COACHING AND FACILITATION
“Lizzie is an incredible listener, knowing when and what to ask to unlock my thinking. She keeps sessions focused on outcomes so I always leave with a greater sense of clarity, feeling both heard and confident in the actions I’m taking forward. I would highly recommend Lizzie as a coach.”
Coaching
Driven by curiosity and rooted in kindness, I want to support clients to think without interruption, and do with that thinking what they truly desire.
In June 2022 I qualified as a Relational Dynamic coach, supporting my practice of working 1:1 with individuals to enable them to achieve their goals. I have already had the privilege of working with a diverse range of people, all with exceptional ideas that they want to realise. I am fully certified member of the Association of Coaching.
If you think you, or anyone in your team, could benefit from coaching, I would love to hear from you.
Who is Coaching for?
“I would definitely recommend Lizzie for anyone who feels stuck or who needs space/time to explore an idea or challenge they are experiencing.”
“‘I started working with Lizzie when I was at a crossroads in my professional career, and needed a safe and held space to explore ideas, thoughts and to decide on a goal with tangible outputs.”
My coaching practice is suitable for anyone and everyone, as long as you are willing to do the work for yourself. This means that we don’t need to have any shared professional experience. You are the expert, I am here to help you access your wisdom.
Coaching works best when you have a sense of the change you wish to see. This doesn’t have to be crystal clear, I can support you to find that clarity.
What to expect from coaching.
My coaching practice is rooted in Relational Dynamics, a style of coaching that supports individuals to gain a greater understanding of themselves and their relationship to others, in order to achieve the change or progress they seek in life. I believe that gaining clarity on what drives you, what motivates you, as well as what doesn’t, is a key first step towards unlocking your potential.
My approach is based on the idea that you have the answers. So if you are looking for specific advice, coaching will not be the right option for you. If you feel my professional experience could be useful then I am very happy to explore a mentoring style programme, with more directed feedback and suggestions. If this feels like the kind of thing you are looking for do let me know and we can work together to design a separate programme.
In coaching, my aim is to get out of your way, so that you can carve out time just for you and discover the steps you really want to take.
Previous clients have described my coaching style as: unintrusive, attentive, non-judgemental, giving space, relaxed, calm and confident.
How is a coaching programme structured?
Ahead of starting a coaching programme we will have a free chemistry call: a 30 minute conversation to discuss what you might want to focus on, during which I will outline and demonstrate the key principles of my practice so that you can decide if I am the right coach for you.
During each session I will hold space for you to think, without interruption, and then support you to do with that thinking what you really desire. This means you will be doing the work. I will listen, I will ask questions, I may lead specific exercises, all to help you move forwards, but I will also keep out of your way.
A typical programme of coaching will consist of at least 6 sessions, each of them up to 1 hour, held either in person, over zoom or on the phone, spaced at least 2 weeks apart. A minimum of 6 sessions will offer time for you to explore and reflect with more depth. The whole programme will be co-designed with you, so this number and structure is not fixed. We will agree a check in point at the start of the programme in case you want to extend the number, or adjust the frequency or length of sessions.
What does it cost?
I have a basic rate (provided on request) but also offer discounts where appropriate, discussed confidentially with each client.
How can I find out more or book a session?
You can book a 30 minute chemistry call via my calendly page or you can contact me via the button below or the contact page of this website. I look forward to hearing from you!
“I highly recommend Lizzie to anyone seeking a truly transformative coaching experience.”
Facilitation
For the past 2 years I have been working as a Peer Learning Facilitator for A New Direction, working on their Cultural Education Partnerships Programme. I also have experience in designing new workshops from scratch for individuals or organisations.

“I learnt LOTS - debunking myths about arts council and translating its jargon, super, super useful”
“Just writing to share the good news that I got my ace funding application ! I can't thank you enough for all the time you've kindly spent with/for me and all the advice you've given me. You've given me so much confidence and knowledge through our workshops and conversations and this funding as a direct result will be so helpful in getting my career started! I appreciate you!”
I am thrilled to be working with Bristol Old Vic Theatre School again this year with a new cohort of exciting talent.
I have also developed a number of workshops bespoke to freelancers, focusing on professional development. In September 2021, I ran my newly created ‘Healthy Contracts’ Workshop and received the following feedback:
“I felt great afterwards, so much lighter for taking a bit of time to think about myself and what makes me happy!”
“A gorgeous, fun and thought-provoking session. Highly supportive, and relaxing to have a space to workshop how to advocate for yourself as a freelancer.”
“A wonderfully enriching and incredibly useful workshop!”
I am always open to designing and facilitating new workshops from scratch, so if you are looking for a facilitator, do get in touch!
